Nighttime road construction is planned on Boundary Street in Beaufort beginning Sunday, and police are advising motorists to be cautious.

Blythe Construction Co. will be performing roadway improvements on Boundary Street, beginning at the intersection of Parris Island Gateway to Broad River Boulevard, according to Beaufort police.

Work will end on Friday.

All work will be performed at night, with lane closures starting at 7 p.m. and ending at 6 a.m.

While navigating through the work zone, police are asking residents to be careful about pulling in and out of driveways and intersections during the working hours.

Follow traffic control measures, they add, and avoid driving through tack and asphalt emulsion before the cure period.
