SC 170 traffic starts moving again after crash on Beaufort County bridge
A crash on S.C. 170 at the Broad River Bridge blocked traffic Monday afternoon, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office advisory.
The right eastbound lane — heading toward Beaufort — was blocked around 4:45 p.m. and reopened aorund 5:45 p.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Real-time traffic information available online from the South Carolina Highway Patrol showed the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. and there were no injuries.
A nearby Beaufort County traffic camera showed vehicles backed up in both lanes of the eastbound side of the bridge.
