A Lady’s Island couple getting ready to go out of town found all of their road trip snacks and groceries had been stolen, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.

Their Chevrolet Suburban had been left unlocked at their home on a small road off Pleasant Point Drive, according to the report. They discovered the boxes filled with approximately $170 worth of snacks, wine and groceries had been taken when they went to finish packing up the car around 6:45 a.m. on Friday.

The center console and glove compartment had also been rummaged through, but nothing else was reported stolen, according to the report.
