Jasper County Sheriff’s Office/Facebook

Two Ridgeland men were arrested Thursday afternoon after a search of their home revealed several grams of crack cocaine, methamphetamine powder, and syringes loaded with methamphetamine liquid, according to a Jasper Copunty Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.

Derrick “Pooh” Wright, 38, and Deandra “Two Time” Jenkins, 25, were each charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule II and Schedule IV drug and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine after a narcotics search warrant was executed at their 100 Pecan Grove Lane home around 5 p.m., according to the post.

The Sheriff’s Office and the Bluffton Police Department served the warrant after narcotic sales at the home were reported.

Inside the home, investigators found 7 grams of crack cocaine, 196.4 grams of methamphetamine powder, three Schedule II tablets, one Schedule IV tablet, a pistol, three syringes loaded with methamphetamine liquid and $1,486 in cash, the post said.

Jenkins was also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime after the pistol was discovered.
