Do you know these men? Police are trying to find them after a Beaufort car was broken into
Beaufort Police are attempting to identify two men after a vehicle was broken in to Wednesday night and a credit card stolen from the car was later used at a gas station.
A vehicle was broken in to in the Islands of Beaufort neighborhood, according to a police department Facebook post. A purse containing credit cards was stolen from the unlocked vehicle. One of the cards was used at the Parker’s gas station on U.S. 21 around 4:20 a.m. the next day, the post said.
A white male wearing a hooded sweatshirt and black and blue striped shirt used the credit card at the gas station. He was in the company of an African American man wearing a black shirt and red hat.
Both were seen leaving the store in a red pickup truck.
