Store signs for 5 neighboring Lady’s Island businesses stolen

Several wooden store signs were reported stolen on Saturday afternoon when a Lady’s Island business owner realized his business’ sign was missing, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.

Signs at The Oaks plaza on Sams Point Way near Sea Island Parkway were removed some time Thursday or Friday, according to the report. Three of the signs were found nearby, but signs for Club Karate, Pizza Hut, Urban Finest, Peking Gourmet and Glamour Beauty were all missing.

The wooden signs were valued at approximately $4,250 in total, according to the report.
