Missing Beaufort woman found safe

A Beaufort woman who had been missing four days has been found and is safe, the Beaufort Police Department said Friday.

In a post on its Facebook page, Beaufort police said Kelly Mathis had been found safe after she was reported missing on Jan. 11. Mathis had been missing since Jan. 8.
