Lady’s Island crash blocked lanes near Woods Memorial Bridge

A Lady’s Island crash temporarily blocked lanes of U.S. 21 near the Woods Memorial Bridge on Wednesday afternoon, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office advisory.

The crash on Sea Island Parkway near Geechie Road shut down all southbound lanes shortly before 4:45 p.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Real-time traffic information from South Carolina Highway Patrol showed the crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. The incident was cleared from the Highway Patrol’s list around 6:45 p.m.

There were no injuries in the three-vehicle crash, Lady’s Island-St. Helena Fire District spokesman Scott Harris said Wednesday afternoon.
