Recognize this guy? Skimmer in Georgia led to fraudulent withdrawal on Lady’s Island

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community to help identify a man who allegedly used stolen credit card information to withdraw $900 from a Lady’s Island ATM.

The man pictured allegedly used the card between 11 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. to make two transactions at South State Bank at 189 Sea Island Parkway on Oct. 8, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. The card information was stolen by a card skimmer in Richmond Hill, Ga., on Sept. 30 and was used fraudulently in several spots in the Savannah area.

Anyone with information can call Sgt. Chris Capps at 843-592-5859, Beaufort County Dispatch at 843-524-2777 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-888-Crime-SC and refer to case 17S219191. With information on the Georgia incidents, refer to case 171010063.
