A pair of guns were stolen from an unlocked Yemassee truck early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The gun owner’s neighbor knocked on his Lanewood Estates front door after seeing four to six men around the man’s home around 5:45 a.m., according to a Yemassee Police Department news release. A Savage 7mm-08 rifle and a Smith & Wesson .40 caliber were stolen from the back seat of the man’s unlocked Chevrolet Silverado.

Only a partial description of one of the suspects was available; he was described as a black male with dreadlocks, according to the release.
