Yemassee cops stop car for speeding. Guess what they found in the vehicle?
Two people were charged Thursday afternoon after a traffic stop near Yemassee revealed MDMA and crack cocaine in a vehicle.
Yemassee Police Department officers stopped a vehicle for speeding on I-95 around 12:30 p.m. and learned the driver, Tremain Terry, 24, of Yemasseee, was driving under suspension, according to a police department news release.
A search of his vehicle revealed 80 units of MDMA and 27.4 grams of crack cocaine.
Terry was additionally charged with trafficking MDMA and trafficking cocaine.
His passenger, Kamera Cox, 28, of Walterboro, was also charged with trafficking MDMA and trafficking coccaine.
Terry and Cox were taken to the Hampton County Detention Center.
