What’s that buzz? Just Beaufort County back to spraying for these pests

Beaufort County Mosquito Control could spray for mosquitoes from the air next week, a county news release said.

The flights are planned for daylight hours from Monday through Friday and dependent on weather. Salt marshes aren’t treated, the release said.

The county’s airplane used to spray for mosquitoes was recently grounded with an electrical issue, Mosquito Control director Gregg Hunt said.
