Yemassee crash didn’t block lanes, but slowed I-95 traffic just the same

A single-vehicle accident snarled traffic on I-95 in Yemsassee Saturday afternoon.

No one was injured in the crash near the 37 northbound mile marker shortly after 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to a Yemassee Police Department news release. Emergency crews were on scene at the Hampton County crash for about 45 minutes.

No lanes were blocked, but “traffic did come to a slow crawl during the duration of the incident,” according to the release.
