Beaufort County bomb threat finds captive audience
A bomb threat called into Beaufort County Detention Center Wednesday morning was determined to be unfounded after no device was found, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The call to the Ribaut Road facility indicated there was a bomb already inside the facility, according to the release.
The Sheriff's Office Explosive Ordinance Team and K-9 units searched the area and found nothing. They have since cleared the area.
