This newly purchased Lady’s Island property has unwelcome guests
A Lady’s Island couple recently moved to the area and bought an undeveloped plot of land on the island, only to find it’s been a popular hangout spot.
Despite putting up no-trespassing signs and cameras, the women hadn’t had any luck in shooing off teenagers, dog walkers and golf cart drivers from their Lake Point Drive property, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.
Fire pits, beer cans and cigar wrappers have been left behind; and two of their signs intended to keep people off the private property were ripped down, the women reported Monday.
The land has been roped off, and the issue will be brought before the Pleasant Point Plantation Property Owners Association, according to the report.
