This new hub will direct visitors to Beaufort County’s Gullah history and culture
A new hub in Beaufort will help visitors to learn about Beaufort County’s history and culture.
The Gullah-Geechee Visitors Center will celebrate its grand opening from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday at 1908 Boundary St. in Beaufort. The space is adjacent to Sgt. White’s Diner at the corner of Boundary Street and Ribaut Road.
The event will include food, music and a chance to learn about the history of the area.
