Help from above: Aerial mosquito spraying could continue through March 29

Beaufort County Mosquito Control began a daytime aerial spraying operation Thursday that could continue though March 29.

Low-flying aircraft are used, and aerial spraying is dependent upon the weather, according to a county new release.

The county does not treat salt marsh habitats for adult mosquitoes during these aerial operations.
