Daily aerial mosquito spraying planned through March 1

Beaufort County Mosquito Control may begin aerial spraying during daylight hours through March 1.

Low-flying aircraft are used, and aerial spraying is dependent upon ideal weather, according to a county new release.

The county does not treat salt marsh habitats for adult mosquitoes during these aerial operations.
