Driving in Port Royal Dec. 30? You better read this

Port Royal Police Department will set up public safety checkpoints throughout the town on Dec. 30, according to a department news release.

The checkpoints will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The checkpoints are conducted in partnership with the 14th Judicial Circuit Alcohol Enforcement Team are part of an effort to discourage impaired driving.
