Multiple thefts reported in northern Beaufort County

Items large and small have been reported stolen across northern Beaufort County.

A Lady’s Island woman said someone had entered her Cottage Walk Circle garage and her car inside it to steal her purse around 1 p.m. Friday, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report. The garage was left open, and the car was unlocked, according to the report.

On Monday, several cars at the Beaufort Yacht and Sailing Club on Lady’s Island were entered and a few were stolen from, according to another report. Between about 6 and 7:30 p.m., four suspects caught on surveillance video got away with a handgun, an iPhone and a charging cable from the vehicles. A pair of sunglasses was left in another another vehicle.

No identifying features or facts about the suspects could be identified from the video, according to the report.

A Yamaha motorcycle was stolen from a Burton home on Friday, according to a third report. The blue and silver motorcycle doesn’t have any unique features that would make it stand out for identification, according to the report.
