Two shot on St. Helena Island

Two males have been shot on St. Helena Island, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office reported Saturday night.

The shootings took place at a residence on Story Teller Road, according to a Sheriff’s Office statement sent around 9:20 p.m.

One of the shooting victims was still at the location and the second was taken to Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Investigators were still at the scene and gathering information about what happened.

There was no additional information available about the condition of the two victims.
