Beaufort County convenience centers to accept non-storm generated yard waste

All Beaufort County convenience centers will resume accepting limited amounts of non-storm generated yard waste on Dec. 12.

Convenience centers will accept yard waste such as small limbs and landscape trimmings, but no leaves will be accepted due to capacity limitations, according to a county news release.

No trailers or large loads will be accepted.

Residents who wish to drop off waste in bags should use paper bags. Plastic bags are prohibited, the release said.
