Suspects sought in theft of construction equipment from Beaufort site

Over $4,000 in construction equipment was stolen from a County Shed Road construction site in Beaufort over the course of Sunday night and Monday morning, according to a Beaufort Police Department media report.

A concrete saw, two chain saws, a generator and a backpack leaf blower were taken from a locked construction trailer, according to Investigator Stephanie Fritz Karafa.

The stolen items are valued at about $4,350, according to the report. There are currently no suspects.
