Weapon shop smashed open, guns stolen

A burglar or burglars hit Shepherd Tactical on Burton Hill Road early Friday morning.

A front glass door was shattered and two handguns were stolen from the store, Beaufort Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Hope Able said on Monday.

The value of the stolen items and damages rang in around $1,150, according to the police report.

Police are still investigating and there are no suspects identified yet, according to the report.
