A Seabrook woman found what was left of her car

A car was stripped of some of its parts and left on blocks at a Garrett Smalls Road home in Seabrook, Beaufort County Sheriff’s deputies said.

A thief took all four tires, the headlights and taillights, the windshield wipers, the front grill of the car and the stereo, according to a sheriff’s office report. A riding lawnmower was also reported stolen from a shed at the home. The stolen items were valued at about $3,840, the report said.

The victim said she was last at the home around 3 p.m. Friday, according to the report. She returned to find what was left of her car on Sunday afternoon.
