Ridgeland disaster relief center to close soon; Beaufort County locations still open

The Jasper County Disaster Recovery Center in Ridgeland is tentatively slated to close at 7 p.m. Friday, according to officials.

Those centers are located on Hilton Head Island at the Hilton Head Island Town Hall Council Chambers at 1 Town Center Court, and in Beaufort at Burton Wells Recreation Center at 1 Middleton Recreation Dr.

The Hilton Head center’s hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

The Beaufort location is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

Jasper residents in need of help after the Ridgeland center closes can register with FEMA disaster assistance at www.disasterassistance.gov or call 1-800- 621-3362.
