Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge to close temporarily next week

Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge will be closed Nov. 15-18 to repair an entrance road damaged during Hurricane Matthew.

“One side of the entrance road was partially washed away, resulting in a hazardous situation for drivers exiting the refuge,” according to a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service news release.
