Road paving continues in northern Beaufort County

Road paving projects in northern Beaufort County continue this week.

Marina Boulevard will be paved Wednesday and Thursday. Shanklin Road, from U.S. 21 to Laurel Bay, will be repaved starting Thursday through Nov. 18. And Grober Hill Road from Parris Island Gateway to Savannah Highway will be worked on Nov. 14-18.

The work will be done between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. There will be some lane closures, and drivers are asked to be careful in work areas.
