Pat Conroy makes return to New York Times best-seller list
Literary legend Pat Conroy is back on the best-seller list, this time thanks to the posthumously published “A Lowcountry Heart: Reflections on a Writing Life.”
Unveiled in October, just days before Conroy would have turned 71, the collection of Conroy interviews, speeches, blog posts and essays sits at No. 11 on the New York Times hardcover nonfiction best-seller list.
Conroy died from pancreatic cancer in March, but this might not be his last published work.
Before his death, Conroy submitted fewer than 200 pages of a new novel, “Storms of Aquarius,” according to the release announcing the collection.
“We are still searching his journals for more on this novel, and at some point we may have something to share with you,” publisher Nan A. Talese wrote in a note to readers in the nonfiction book.
