Beaufort workshops explain new online payment system

Two workshops to explain Beaufort’s new online system for business license renewal and accommodations and hospitality tax payments have been rescheduled for this week after Hurricane Matthew canceled them.

One of the workshops is today at 11:30 a.m. at City Hall, 1911 Boundary St. in Beaufort. The final workshop is Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at City Hall.

The sessions will help participants complete login information and become familiar with the system.

Participants are asked to bring a laptop or tablet computer.
