Port Royal Farmers Market geared up for Halloween

Get a head start on trick-or-treating in Port Royal on Saturday morning.

The town’s farmers market will include contests for children’s costumes and gourd painting. The market is open from 9 a.m. until noon in Naval Heritage Park on Ribaut Road.

Tavino’s Pizza and Palmetto Kettle Corn will return to the market Saturday, market manager Kit Bruce said in her weekly newsletter. And Lowcountry Gold Honey will make its final appearance of the year.
