Governor’s School to host information session at USCB
The Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics will hold an information session for prospective students in November in Beaufort.
The session will be 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at USC Beaufort, Sandstone Building, Room 124 at 801 Carteret St. in Beaufort.
Called “SmartTalk,” the meeting is aimed at parents and students interested in the two-year, public residential high school located in Hartsville. The school is for academically talented juniors and seniors interested in advanced studies in science, technology, engineering, entrepreneurship and math, a news release said.
