Crash critically injures 4 motorcyclists

Four motorcyclists were critically injured after a wreck on Laurel Bay Road just before 7 p.m. Saturday.

Two of the motorcyclists had to be flown out by helicopter for medical attention, according to a Burton Fire District news release.

Burton Fire District and Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort firefighters responded to the crash, according to the release.

No further information is available on the victims’ conditions at this time.
