A Beaufort event will offer appraisal services to benefit a local Alzheimer’s organization.

The event will be held at Holiday Inn from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sept. 29. Proceeds will benefit Alzheimer’s Family Services of Greater Beaufort.

Those interested can bring family heirlooms, yard-sale finds and other items for a verbal approximation of value, according to a news release.

Tickets are $30 for a couple, which includes one item for assessment. Individual tickets are $15 and include one item to be appraised. Additional items can be appraised for $15. There is a limit of four items per person.

Tickets may be purchased at www.afsgb.org or at the Alzheimer’s Family Services office at 1111 Bay St., Suite B in Beaufort.
