Why are folks in Beaufort upset about the new businesses coming to town?
The Beaufort Gazette broke the news Tuesday that a KFC and Grainger Nissan car dealership were planned to occupy a 5.3-acre site on Robert Smalls Parkway.
In the 24 hours since, the story has remained one of our most popular. But the vast majority of comments posted on our Facebook page were from people not happy with the announcement.
