Borghese named board chair for Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina
Nancy Borghese, of Hilton Head Island, has been named board chair of the Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina.
A retired senior vice president with CCC Information Services Inc. in Chicago, Borghese holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
Borghese has been active with a number of philanthropic initiatives and organizations primarily with the University of Wisconsin where she currently serves on the Board of Visitors for the College of Letters & Science.
Borghese’s girl scouting experience started in the second grade and continued through high school. As an adult, she served on a number of committees with the organization.
She was named to the position of chair for the Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina at the organization’s annual meeting in April. She will serve for a three-year term.
