Hilton Head Island heart walk to raise awareness for disease, stroke

Hundreds are expected for the Palmetto Heart Walk on Hilton Head Island on Saturday.

The event will be held in Shelter Cover Community Park starting at 8:30 a.m. to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke. The message from the American Heart Association is that heart disease and stroke are largely preventable with a healthy diet and exercise.
