Former Miss America to speak at Lilies on the River fundraiser

The 12th annual Lilies on the River fundraiser will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Hampton Hall Clubhouse, 170 Hampton Hall Blvd.

The event benefits Hope Haven of the Lowcountry, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children and families impacted by sexual violence and abuse.

Marilyn Van Derbur, Miss America 1958, will speak at the fundraiser.
