Honor Flight Savannah to fly veterans to Washington, D.C.

Honor Flight Savannah will fly a group of veterans to Washington, D.C., at the end of April.

Veterans from World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam will be flown to visit war memorials April 29 through May 1. The trip leaves from Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, and the public is invited to attend a send-off at 8 a.m. April 29.

Honor Flight Savannah is a nonproft providing free trips to allow veterans to visit the war memorials. To register for the trip, visit www.honorflightsavannah.org or call 912-367-9020.
