Bluffton Police phone drive to benefit domestic violence victims

The Bluffton Police Department is calling for donations of used and broken cell phones to benefit victims of domestic violence.

In a partnership with Verizon Wireless, the police department’s Hopeline Phone Drive will run through April 26. Phone donations will be accepted regardless of condition and service provider at four different locations throughout Bluffton.

All phones that can be refurbished will be donated to victims and survivors of domestic violence. Donations that cannot be refurbished will be sold for parts to raise funds for local organizations dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence.
