MUSC opening children’s clinic in Beaufort

The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston will open a Children’s Health clinic in Beaufort next month.

The clinic, to open March 7 at 1055 Ribaut Road, 20A, will include five pediatric specialties initially — dealing with the heart, blood, joints and muscles, digestive system, and surgerical consults and follow-ups. It plans to add endocrinology, the treatment of hormonal diseases, later.

MUSC already has Children’s Care Clinics in Charleston and Moncks Corner, and about 45 other outpatient locations.
