Hilton Head boy with leukemia seeks toy lambs

A Hilton Head Island boy whose cancer has returned after going into remission last year is seeking 1,000 stuffed toy lambs to give to children who are also battling cancer.

Alex Arrieta, 10, who has acute myeloid leukemia, is collecting the toys through his recently created Lambs for Life project.

The lambs can be dropped off at the front desk of The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette at 10 Buck Island Road in Bluffton.

They also can be dropped off at Hilton Head Island School for the Creative Arts or mailed to Alex Arrieta, c/o Andrea Hayes, 57 Heritage Lakes Drive, Bluffton, SC 29910.
