Coalition against human trafficking hosts Hilton Head conference

The Lowcountry Coalition Against Human Trafficking will host its fifth annual conference Jan. 15 at Christian Renewal Church on Hilton Head Island.

The event is open to the public and seeks to improve the quality of public discussion on human trafficking and increase community engagement.

Guest speakers will be award-winning documentary filmmaker Robert Bilheimer, creator and director of "Not My Life," along with Assistant U.S. Georgia Attorney Camila Wright, 14th Circuit Solicitor Duffie Stone and a panel of human-trafficking victims.
