Maritime center to receive boat donation

Hilton Head Boathouse has donated a new G3 Jon Boat and Yamaha engine to the Port Royal Sound Foundation Maritime Center, according to foundation news release.

The boat will be delivered Oct. 1.

It will be used primarily to collect specimens for the 3,000-gallon aquarium and viewing tanks inside the center.
