Underbrushing of Oyster Factory Park to begin next week

Contractors for the town of Bluffton will be begin an underbrushing project at Oyster Factory Park next week.

Underbrushing involves the removal of the layer of vegetation beneath the main canopy of trees to give the entire area a cleaner appearance as well as open up more area of the park.

Efforts will center around the area between the park's bathrooms to the intersection of Bridge and Wharf streets, and the wooded area between the park's bathrooms to park's bluff.
