Groups offer photo ID assistance

American Legion Post 49 and the Military Officers Association of America Hilton Head Island will provide transportation for island residents to the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles in Bluffton to obtain government issued photo ID.

The IDs are required to register and vote in the upcoming primary and presidential elections.

Call the First Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head at 843- 681-3696 and provide your name, address, and phone number. The church will then contact the transportation groups. The service will be provided until the 2016 presidential election.
