The Coastal Discovery Museum is offering modern day Hilton Head Islanders an opportunity to "meet" Capt. William Hilton, who sighted the island 350 years ago while exploring the Southeast coast and is the island's namesake.

Dwayne Pickett portrays the captain during the interactive program which is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 22. Cost is $15 a person. Reservations are required.
