Ella C. White scholarship dinner is Friday

The Ella C. White Memorial Scholarship Fund will have its annual fundraising dinner Friday at the Crowne Plaza Resort on Hilton Head Island. The event begins with a reception, including cash bar, at 6:30 p.m. followed by a dinner program at 7:30 p.m. The theme for this year's event is "Making A Difference." Tickets are $65. The keynote speaker for the dinner is M. Christopher Brown, the 18th president of the Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi. The fund awards scholarships to graduating seniors at Hilton Head Island High and Bluffton High schools.
