E-bike rider killed in crash with car on Hilton Head Island. What to know
One person is dead after a fatal, e-bike crash Wednesday night on Marshland Road. The crash occurred around 9:50 p.m.
An e-bike rider was travelling north on Marshland Road on Hilton Head Island when a Dodge Charger, also travelling north, hit the e-bike rider. The e-bike rider died on the scene, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The Dodge Charger driver was not injured.
The collision remains under investigation by highway patrol.
