Savannah-Hilton Head airport offers new flight route. Here are the details

The Lowcountry’s closest international airport has a new route if you’re looking to visit family or just get away.

Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) now offers a non-stop flight to Columbus, Ohio. The flights are handled by low-cost airline Breeze Airways. Breeze already offers eight flights out of the airport.

How much do they cost?

Breeze flights offer standard, extra legroom and first class seats. Seats are spacious and comfortable, according to Breeze’s website. In-flight amenities include: Wi-Fi, text messaging, entertainment and snacks.

Flights occur every Wednesday and Saturday, according to the flight’s page on Breeze’s website. The next flight is on July 18, and available tickets start at $94 for its cheapest ticket, the no flex fare. Carry-on luggage is only available through Breeze’s Nice, Nicer and Nicest bundles, and cost a minimum of $40 above standard price. The Nicer bundle also provides an extra legroom seat, and the Nicest bundle a first-class seat.

What’s Breeze?

Breeze was founded in 2021 as a domestic airline by JetBlue founder David Neeleman. It operates 300 domestic routes to 91 cities, according to its website. The Federal Aviation Administration designated the airline as a U.S. flag-carrier in 2025, and it’s the first in 10 years to be designated as such.
